About Me

Mitesh Karwa
UG Fourth Year Electrical Engineering Student
MNNIT, Allahabad.

Just to give you a brief introduction about myself, I come from a small and beautiful hill station, Mirik which is located some 50 kms from Darjeeling in the Himalayan mountains of West Bengal. The hill station is around 3200m above sea level and the panoromic view of the majestic Kanchenjunga mountains (or the Khangchandzongkha mountains) gives a beautiful backdrop to a large lake that attracts several tourists.

My father Mr. Arun Kumar Karwa is a businessman in Mirik. My mother Mrs. Manju Karwa is a housewife and she cooks lovely dishes for me when I go home. My elder sister Ms. Anchal Gilra is happily married in Mumbai and my younger sister Khusboo is completing her higher secondary from Loreto Convent, Darjeeling.

I grew up in Mirik and attended school at Lewis English School, Mirik before moving to St. James' School, Binnaguri for Higher Secondary. There on, I appeared in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination and was admitted to National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering here and have been selected through campus placements to join Tata Motors in August 2011.

I am passionate about poetry and power systems. I am fond of traveling and quizzing. Besides, I had a keen interest in stamp and coins collection before closing them down. Currently, I am focused towards my career; of course that does not stop me from doing what I love to do. And one of them is blogging :)
